We received a call yesterday from local distributor Bibendum telling us Steve James of Voyager Estate was in town next week and had a night free, would we like to do a master class with him? We had to think about it...for about 3 seconds before giving an enthusiastic "hell yes"!
Steve James has been at Voyager Estate for 20 years and currently oversees both the wine making and viticultural teams.From the outset, Steve has focused on sustainable farming, vine balance, clonal selection, and vineyard management in close liaison with the winery team. This focus has allowed the vines to shine and become more adept at expressing the purity and character of the individual vineyard blocks.
