We're very happy to once again have accomplished winemaker Steve James back this year to take us through another stunning array of Voyager Estate wines. This fixture sold out very quickly last year so if you love great producers from Margaret River as much as we do, make sure you get your tickets fast.
Steve James has been at Voyager Estate for 20 years and currently oversees both the wine making and viticultural teams. From the outset, Steve has focused on sustainable farming, vine balance, clonal selection, and vineyard management in close liaison with the winery team. This focus has allowed the vines to shine and become more adept at expressing the purity and character of the individual vineyard blocks.
This impeccably run Estate crafts a set of wines that ooze style and class. Even better, the quality just keeps improving, reflecting the continual evolution in the vineyard and winery.The Voyager vineyard (oldest vines 1978) lies in the cool micro-climate of Stevens Valley within the greater Wallcliffe sub region of the Margaret River (also home to Leeuwin and Cape Mentelle).
