"This comes from Pierre-Yves’ father-in-law, Jean-Marc Morey’s vineyard. Tiny grapes from ancient vines I am told. It is still in barrel, neither racked nor sulphured. It has the typical pale yellow colour with a slight lime tint. And so to the bouquet: what a wealth of fruit here, and it all tastes like perfect grapes, and has kept the natural acidity of the vintage. Bâtard can wear its alcohol well, and this looks like turning into a great wine. Tasted: September 2020"
