"Youthful even with a few years under its belt and although there’s a mellowing, it’s relaxed. Savoury and earthy with strong ferrous aromas, sumac and dark fruit, the palate is laid out as structured and deep. The tannins are supple and ripe, plenty of them, too, and such a counterpoint to the Pyrette shiraz, albeit from the 2021 vintage."
