Last week we welcomed Giovanni Angeli, Cellarmaster at Massolino, to the MW Wines tasting room, and it was one of the best received evenings we've hosted this year. Whether you were in the room or missed out, we've secured an allocation across the full Massolino range, from the estate's entry Langhe Nebbiolo through to the extremely rare Vigna Rionda Riserva “Etichetta Nera”, one of the standout pours of the night.
Massolino has farmed in Serralunga d'Alba since 1896 and is now run by the fourth generation of the family. Eight wines are on offer below, at prices reduced for a limited time. Allocations are small, as few as six cases for some of the single vineyard Barolos, so once they're gone, they're gone.
