MW Wines has been operating as an independent supplier of old and rare fine wines since 1989. Established by Messrs Robert Worthington and Joseph Miceli, MW Wines was originally based in Brunswick, Melbourne, Victoria, before moving to specialised climate controlled premises in Abbotsford, Melbourne, Victoria in the early 2000s. During that time, MW Wines has grown to be one of Australia’s premier suppliers of old and rare fine wines to both the trade and retail markets in Australia and abroad.
MW Wines is now wholly owned by Nick Stamford, a passionate wine collector and consumer. Nick’s enthusiasm, his depth of wine knowledge and his strong business background will ensure that MW Wines remains a staunchly independent supplier of old and rare wines for many years to come. Nick believes strongly in providing passionate wine consumers with a wine range and a customer service beyond that available in Australia’s major chains.
