Felsina was founded in 1966 on one of the finest terrains in Tuscany. Forty years of extensive research and clonal selection has resulted in an incredible combination of complexity, structure, power and finesse.
They have collected 24 Tre Bicchieri, Italy's premier wine award and, in 2009, Gambero Rosso awarded Fèlsina the prestigious title of ‘Italian Winery of the Year’.
2019 was a classic, well balanced vintage in the Chianti Classico region. Here the wines are made primarily from the sangiovese grape. Thanks to it's higher elevation than the general Chianti zone, its wines are thought to be more elegant with concentrated aromas of cherry, raspberry, chocolate and hazelnut.
