Despite a tragic and troubling start following the sudden passing of Stephane Moreau in 2016,Virginie Moreau has risen to take the helm of this well-established estate. After facing some challenging first vintages, Virginie and her team have crafted exceptional wines that seem to keep getting better year to year. Beautifully ripe and balanced wines are the house style. The wines speak of Chablis but with great approachability and longevity in tow.
In 2021, the Chablis region faced several challenges due to major frost events that caused a significant reduction in yields. As a result, the available stocks of Moreau-Naudet wines are extremely limited. However, if you are a fan of this style of Chablis, don't worry! We have plenty of excellent wines in stock, such as Raveneau and Dauvissat, waiting for you in our online store.
