From humble beginnings, Mee Godard has risen to be one of the shining lights for the future of Beaujolais. Born into a family of South Korean farmers, Mee was adopted by a French couple when she was nine months old and subsequently emigrated to France. Alove for wine followed, and after studying wine science as well as researching polyphenolics and plant physiology, an opening to purchase 5 hectares of vines in Beaujolais presented itself in 2013. Not missing this opportunity, Mee secured three stunning parcels of Corcelette, Cote du Py and Grand Cras and has now established herself crafting wines of serious personality, elegance and longevity.
The wines available today are extremely limited and will not last long. Order now to avoid missing out.

2019 Beaujolais-Villages
Usually $50 - Special Offer $44
Brimming with black-cherry and violet aromas, this matches vibrancy with sappy power to create a joyful whole, the ripe-cherry character winning out over the well integrated acidity and the snap of tannin at the bold finish. Drink or hold.

2018 Morgon 'Corcelette'
Usually $69 - Special Offer $64
Tight, cello-sweet cherry and menthol nose. Vibrant, pinging with cherry sherbet and liquorice lace andsomuch juiciness that you want to laugh out loud. Gently chewy and gently stemmy tannins, reminding you, with an arched eyebrow, that the juiciness and fruit might make you want to go salsa dancing, but this is a serious wine.

2015 Morgon 'Cote du Py'
Usually $89 - Special Offer $85
Deep ruby. Expressive blackberry, potpourri and smoky mineral aromas show outstanding definition, along with a hint of licorice in the background. Stains the palate with concentrated blue fruit, cherry cola and bitter chocolate flavors that are energized by a jolt of juicy acidity. Densely packed but lively as well, finishing with superb clarity, harmonious tannins and sweet blue fruit and smoky mineral flourishes.

2017 Moulin-a-Vent 'Au Michelons'
Usually $85 - Special Offer $79
Reminds me of a flower market in the best possible way – ferns and damp roses and spicy dianthus and crushed petals and the aromatic green sweetness of myrtle. Mossy. Full of earthy life. A pencil-slim skein of dry tannins that press gently into ripe red hedgerow berries, and a grace note of graphite that carries the finish long and pure and with beautiful gravitas.
