2020 Barbera d'Alba DOC $59

100% Barbera from the Curra and Fausoni vineyards in Neive, a village in Barbaresco. These are grown on limestone and blue marl soils with and average vine age of 50-60 years. The wines are aged for12 months used French Oak prior to bottling. 2020 was an extremely good vintage producing well balanced wines.

2019 Barbaresco DOCG $115

"The 2019 Barbaresco is a fabulous wine at its level. It offers striking depth and intensity. Layered and racy in the glass, the 2019 possesses tremendous depth and tons of pedigree. Bright red-toned fruit, blood orange, spice, mint and white pepper all grace this wonderfully expressive Barbaresco. Vineyard sites are Currà, Fausoni, younger vines in Rabajà and San Cristoforo. The 2019 was aged 70% in cask and 30% in small wood. Drinking window: 2023-2031."

2018 Barolo DOCG $119

"The 2018 Barolo is terrific. In 2018, the Odderos were not completely convinced of the results across all their sites. Ultimately, they blended all of their vineyard designates into the straight Barolo, with the exception of the Brunate and a Riserva from Vigna Rionda. In the glass, their 2018 is captivating. Exotic aromatics, bright red berry fruit and vibrant acids give the 2018 its considerable allure. Vineyard sites are: Fiasco, Bricco Chiesa, Capalot, Bussia, Villero, Rocche di Castiglione and Monvigliero. Look for this to be one of the under the radar gems of the vintage. I loved it. In fact, the Oddero Barolo is one of the few 2018s readers should not miss. It is a very strong 'buy' in my book."
