"Pascal Mugneret has discretely made Domaine Gérard Mugneret one of the most sought-after producers in Vosne-Romanée. At present, he occupies that liminal point where he is well known and respected, but does not attract the obsessive following or price speculation of its blue chip names. How long that will last is another question and I am probably not helping by proclaiming just how good these wines are."
Neal Martin, vinous.com
"In today's Burgundy market, such anomalies don't last long, so readers who aren't following this address are encouraged to acquaint themselves with it in short order."

2019 Vin de France 'Pourpre'
Extremely Limited $59
"Opting to reimagine the domaine's Passetoutgrain, an appellation whose pejorative connotations he dislikes, Mugneret has produced the 2019 Vin de France Pourpre, a blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir that bursts with aromas of juicy cherries, berries and petals. Medium-bodied, bright and lively, with a fleshy core of fruit and youthfully chewy tannins, this offers plenty of hearty charm."

2019 Bourgogne Rouge
Extremely Limited $89
"Aromas of raspberries, cherries, rose petals, peonies and raw cocoa introduce Mugneret's impressively complex 2019 Bourgogne Les Rouges Champs, a medium to full-bodied, layered and nicely concentrated wine built around powdery tannins. It's derived from a parcel opposite the Clos de Vougeot."

2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru 'Aux Cras'
Extremely Limited $479
"Dense purple with a nutty character to the nose that hides the immediate fruit. In these grown-up appellations one rather loses sight of the whole bunch component. There is real energy at the back and now the stems do come into play with their white pepper tingle and some rose petal aromatics around the dense black fruit."
93-95 Points
Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
"The 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Cras is a fine success in the making, unfurling to reveal scents of cassis, blackberries, smoked meats and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it's deep and lively, with prodigious reserves of fruit framed by powdery tannins and bright acids."

2019 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru 'Les Charmes'
Extremely Limited $499
"The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes 1er Cru was due to be racked the following week. The expressive bouquet features a crushed-violet-infused melange of red and blue fruit, very Vosne-like in style. The palate is thickly textured with firm grip, fresh and vibrant. The slightly muscular finish suggests this will give 15-20 years of drinking pleasure. Superb."

2019 Vosne-Romanee 'Precolombiere'
Extremely Limited $269
"The 2019 Vosne-Romanee Selection Pre-Colombiere has a rich, generous bouquet ofkirsch, cassis and pressed violet. There is real depth to these aromatics considering that it is a Village Cru. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins, and more marine-influenced than the Vigneau, revealing oyster shells on the finish. Excellent."
91-93 Points
Neal Martin, vinous.com
"Made up of Pre de la Folie and Colombiere plus a bit of Aux Communes. Rich purple in colour, more elegant nose, though still in the heady idiom of 2019, excellent energy here in the middle, flirts with volatile and decides against, drier finish. Not dissimilar to “Quatrain” but with just a bit more intensity."

2019 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru 'Les Suchots'
Extremely Limited $519
"Rich deep purple, beautifully lifted nose: “even when it is out of sorts it is the most extrovert in the cellar” suggests Pascal, but today it is in fine form. A strong beam of dark fruit with a tensile strength, and good acidity behind."

Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
"Aromas of orange rind, raspberries, plums, rose petals and spices preface the 2019 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots, a medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated wine that's charming and gourmand, with lively acids, velvety tannins and a long, perfumed finish. This derives from holdings at the top of the slope, planted in 1988 and 1939."

2019 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru 'Les Brulees'
Extremely Limited $649
"The 2019 Vosne-Romanee Aux Brulees 1er Cru has a beguiling floral bouquet that is just quintessential Aux Brulees; it soars from the glass and leaves you absolutely smitten. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, wonderful structure and palpable mineralité on the tensile finish. Hints of black pepper linger on the aftertaste. Outstanding."
