"This is a producer that I feel has really improved in recent vintages, and their 2020 range in particular is studded with gems like the Pouilly-Fuissé Vers Cras and Les Ménétrières"
Neal Martin, Vinous.com
“I like the style of the 2020 vintage quite a bit as the wines are fresh, transparent and refreshing." As was the case in 2019, I was impressed by the quality of what I found, especially at the upper level.”
Allen Meadows, Burghound

2020 Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru 'Vers Cras'
Usually $114 - Special Offer $105
"The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé Vers Cras 1er Cru comes from 3.5 hectares of vines surrounding the winery on limestone soils. Struck flint comes through nicely on the nose, very focused and full of energy. The palate is very well balanced with harmonious citrus fruit infused with flint and white pepper notes. Impressive weight and extract on the finish, this is turning into a delightful Pouilly-Fuissé"

2020 Pouilly-Fuissé 'La Maréchaude'
Usually $114 - Special Offer $105
"The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé La Maréchaude 1er Cru was picked in the final days of September. Amongst the domaine’s Premier Crus, this wine shows the most mineralité and tension on the nose at the moment. The palate is full of tension and salinity, fine weight with a slight nuttiness towards the finish. This oozes character and personality."

"The property is owned – and has been since 1782 – by the Combier family though the vineyards are now co-owned by the Burriers of Château de Beauregard who manage the vines and make the wine, on site at the Château du Clos"

2020 Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru 'Pouilly'
Usually $125 - Special Offer $115
"Outstanding.A slightly riper if otherwise similar nose precedes finer if not denser flavors that coat the palate in sappy dry extract that imparts a seductive mouthfeel to the bone-dry, youthfully austere and compact finale that is noticeably more tightly wound. In contrast to the straight Pouilly-Fuissé, this is going to require at least a few years of patience and should repay 5 to 8 years of cellaring."
