Patrick Sullivan - Incredible New Pinot Noir and Chardonnay

by Hugh French | Mar 21, 2023

Patrick Sullivan

From an upbringing on the Cambrian soiled slopes of Heathcote, Patrick has always been comfortable in the vines. As a farmer first and winemaker second, his is one of the great philosophies in viticulture; Great wines are made in the vineyard and not the cellar.

Due to immense care taken in the vineyard alongside minimal intervention winemaking practices, Patrick's wines are full of life and vibrancy matched with elegant and refined structure. Almost crystalline in purity, these wines faithfully exhibit the Gippsland terroir in which they're grown.

Elevation at 100m, this section of the vineyard receives the least amount of airflow relative to the estate's other sites, with the northerly aspect providing full sunlight and exposure, resulting in powerful and rich fruit."
