2021 Albarino 'Nanclares'
Usually $79- Special Offer $72
From multiple vineyards dotted around Alberto's home and the projects winery in Cambados, all old vine material up to 95 years old. This year 'Nanclares' also includes the fruit from 'Soverribas' typically one of the top single vineyards. This is a clear step up from the village wines, intensely saline, elegant, and lifted. Floral over the top of cut grass and wet stone then ripping acidity. It's a blend of roughly 50/50 stainless steel and 500L oak aging - from barrels made in 2008 and 2010 - where the wine rests for a full year on lees before bottling.

2021 Albarino 'Paraje Mina'
Usually $79- Special Offer $72
Paraje Mina is the old vineyard behind Alberto's home in Cambados of 50-year old pergola trained vines on loose granitic sand over very hard granite bedrock. it's just under 0.4 hectares in size and produces just 1,200 bottles. It is intensely pure, saline, and tense. Behind that freshness, white florals, lemon pith and grapefruit flesh begin to appear.

2021 Albarino 'A Grana'
Usually $79- Special Offer $72
'A Grana' is a collaboration between Nanclares y Prieto and Adrian Guerra - the owner and Sommelier of the region’s best wine bar - Bagos (thoroughly recommended by the way!)
The wine comes from an old vineyard in Sanxenxo that's planted over a rare strip of Granodiorite soil belonging to Adrian's family. Traditionally this vineyard was always fermented and aged in old chestnut barrels, so the project began in 2016 with the purchase of a custom built 1,000L chestnut barrel intended solely for this parcel. It's the lowest yielding of Alberto and Silvia's sites and faces directly into the stiff ocean breezes. Only 1,200 bottles were produced.

2018 Albarino 'Fogar do Castrino'
Usually $95- Special Offer $88
A new cuvee for Nanclares y Prieto - 'Fogar de Castriño' comes from two side-by-side plots of 85 and 100+ year old pergola trained Albarino vines in the village of Ribadumia, just inland from Cambados. They're planted on loose, decomposed granitic sand. Due to the extreme age of the vines and the poor nature of the soils the two vineyards combined produce just enough juice to fill a single 500L chestnut barrel where the wine rests for two years on fine lees, it's then bottled and aged for another two years before release. Only 655 bottles were made.
