2022 Tasmania Pinot Noir

"Spicy, cherry and raspberry, hazelnut and earthy things. It’s bright, with a sappy and spicy edge, cranberry acidity and fine emery tannin, dark cherry and walnut, with a little blood orange zest on a finish of dried raspberry and spice. A lot of energy here, kind of nervy, but really good."

2022 North Tasmania Pinot Noir
Usually $69 - Special Offer $63
"Dark cherry, raspberry, distinct charcoal thing happening here, and while it’s a little overt and chunky as a young wine, the boisterous fruit and graphite tannin marks it out as a wine that should have an excellent future. Dried herb, nuts, cherry, and a ‘mineral’ inflection all make it seem like it’s waiting to make its mark. Give it a few years to roll out. Very good."

2022 South Tasmania Pinot Noir

"Not then brightest in terms of colour, but gee it really has some get up and go. Strawberry, raspberry, mandarin skin, spice and earthiness. It’s light but full of energy, so much crunch and sappy strawberry flavour, cool and long, fine pumice stone tannin, and a sappy red fruited finish of excellent length. A bit umami with it, but precision, tightness and vigour is the thing here. Light but so brightly lit. Excellent."
