We cannot recommend Stefan’s wines highly enough, particularly at the price, which frankly is way too cheap given the extraordinary vineyards Stefan works and the immense amount of work that is required to bring these stunning wines to fruition.

“Well, what is there to say except that the 2021 Riesling collection dished up Stefan Steinmetz is simply magnificent. The “GGs,” as Stefan calls his dry resp. just off-dry wines, are simply magical as they deliver the usual intensity and depth of flavors typical for this Estate with the 2021 subtlety and focus. In particular the new bottling of Piesporter Treppchen “am Fels” is a modern-day classic in the making. The Estate also produced a stunning collection of no less than six fruity-styled Kabinett wines which are all highlights of the vintage. While this alone would be already a huge success for any grower, Stefan Steinmetz underlined his status as one of the finest producers of Mosel Pinot Noir with a set of 2019 bottlings which are arguably his finest to date. What a stunning collection by a grower which is now among the crème de la crème of the region!”
