Hofgut Falkenstein
"13ha of mainly old Riesling vines in a side valley of the Saar known as Tälchen"

"2022 is another success story for Hofgut Falkenstein. The wines all stand out for their clarity, complexity, and precision. Concentration and depth bring density to the wines, making them shine. They completely mask the softness and roundness often found in the 2022 vintage. To list all the great wines would be to include virtually all of them. But if we had to give our preferences, we would list Ober Schäfershaus Spätlese Trocken, Herrenberg Kabinett Feinherb Onkel Peter, Herrenberg Spätlese Feinherb Meyer Nepal, Euchariusberg Kabinett Alte Reben Gisela and Euchariusberg Auslese Förster.”

Usually $67 - Special Offer $63
"The 2022er Niedermenniger Herrenberg Riesling Kabinett Feinherb Herbert (the reference to this internal cask name is provided in small print on the label after the AP number) is an off-dry wine made from fruit harvested in the Kasselsheidchen part of the vineyard situated high up the slope. It offers a very elegant and pure nose of white and yellow fruits, jasmine, lavender, violet, and pear. The wine is delicately refined and juicy on the fruity and fresh palate.
