The Oddero family has a long history of producing exceptional wines in the Piedmont region. They have been crafting wines since 1878 and have elevated the winery's standing to become one of Langhe's most esteemed cellars. The two brothers, Giacomo and Luigi Oddero played a significant role in this achievement. However, in 2006, they divided the estate amicably, with Luigi retaining 32 hectares of prime vineyards. Tragically, Luigi passed away in 2009, leaving his widow and children to oversee the winery.
Today, the Odderos have employed the expertise of renowned winemaker Francesco Versio with Dante Scaglione, who learned his craft under the tutelage of Bruno Giacosa, looking after the vineyard. With this incredible team, further ascendancy of this producer is almost certain.

"Treiso. Just mid ruby. Cool, yet concentrated raspberry fruit on the nose. Elegant, supple full raspberry palate that is still a little tight. 2018 Barolo 'Rocche Rivera' DOCG
Usually $345 - Special Offer $325
"Castiglione Falletto. The grapes come from the Rocche Rivera plot in the Scarrone cru, which is a continuation of the Rocche di Castiglione cru with Luigi Oddero's full-south-facing plot one of the best sites.
Lustrous mid ruby. Perfumed, concentrated and focused cherry nose of great appeal with hints of iron and orange blossom. Great minerality underneath. Slow to open up and really intriguing. Compact, precise and transparent. Gorgeous, finely grained, layered tasty tannins paving the way for the elegant fruit. Real pedigree and elegance."
