The earliest conception of this project came to life when ex-AFL star Jordan Lewis returned to Australia after his honeymoon in Europe, where he developed a major passion for wine. Upon his return, he reached out to the d'Anna family of Hoddles Creek and later Sam Middleton of Mount Mary. Through a shared love for wine and excitement to work together on a new project, DML VIN became a reality. Four vintages later, and the trio have yet again produced a fantastic set of two single-vineyard wines, one from the Upper Yarra Valley and the other from the Mornington Peninsula. We love these wines, and the skill and expertise of the winemakers is evident in both.

2022 Upper Yarra Valley Pinot Noir

"Red fruits, cinnamon, almond, some spice, mint and tobacco. Medium-bodied, sappy and savoury, peach and strawberry, a certain juiciness to it, fine grained tannin with some orange peel on a finish of good length. It’s maybe a bit squishy, but has no shortage of charm. Good wine all up.. "

2022 Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir

"Balnarring and Merricks. D’Anna, Middleton, Lewis.
Cherry, earth, spice, almost a liquorice richness here, plus some gum leaf and mint. Medium-bodied, sappy and earthy, baking spices, rhubarb and pomegranate tang, dusty and gently peppery tannin grip, slightly meaty too, with pumice stone tannin and orange peel on a finish of good length. Excellent."
