Envínate, is the project of four young, passionate, winemakers who formed a collective based on a shared philosophy of wine and a desire to explore the ancient, Atlantic influenced terroirs of western Spain.

2022 Lousas 'Vinas de Aldea'

"The bottled 2022 Lousas Viñas de Aldea is aromatic, extroverted, open and immediate, floral, perfumed and expressive, with a juicy and round palate. It's fleshy and round, still with 12.5% alcohol on the label but possibly a tad riper than the 2023 sample I tasted next to it. It's a very approachable vintage for this cuvée."

2022 Lousas 'Doad'

"The 2022 Doad Lousas, the second vintage of the village red, comes from gneiss and schist soils from the traditional zone of the Sil. It is warmer and riper, a textbook example of ripe Mencía fruit, from an earlier-ripening zone with juicy wines. As with the rest of the 2022s, the wine is super expressive, aromatic and a little riper and more immediate than the tighter 2023s. It has a floral and perfumed nose and is quite fruitdriven, juicy and tasty, with fine tannins already getting polished."

"I love the ethereal 2022 Rosende Lousas, which is pale, delicate and perfumed, with notes of pomegranate, granite granularity and a textured mouthfeel. This exceeds my expectations. The reduction from the unbottled sample last year has disappeared, and the wine is neat and clean, perfumed and elegant. It has a moderate 12% alcohol and very good freshness and balance."

"The intoxicating 2022 Lousas Parcela Seoane comes from a specific plot in the village of Doade, old vines planted in the 1930 on gneiss and quartz. It has the expressive nose of the zone—serious and mineral—but it's perfumed too. It has the forward and extroverted character of 2022 and is a little riper and rounder, with a note of blood orange and the faint volatility that lifts up the nose. There's a lot of energy here."
