After gaining extensive experience at Rockford and Wynns of Coonawarra, Samantha Chandra ventured into sourcing fruit for her micro-production project, Setiono. Drawing inspiration from the renowned northern Rhône Valley, Samantha's Shiraz is elegant, delicate, and offers a fresher perspective compared to traditional Barossan wines. This movement, championed by producers like Fraser McKinley of Sami-Odi and Callum Powell of Agricola Vintners, supports the belief that Barossa Shiraz can be long-lived, profound, vibrant, and exciting when crafted with a lighter touch.
