Domaine Antoine Jobard occupies a measured, assured place within Meursault, defined by consistency, restraint and a clear sense of intent. The estate has long been established in the village, but it is under Antoine’s direction, since taking over from his father François in 2007, that its identity has been most clearly articulated. Rather than pursuing scale or visibility, the focus has remained on refinement, with incremental changes that have sharpened both the wines and the way the domaine operates.
That evolution has been deliberate. Harvests are timed to retain natural freshness, élevage is extended to allow the wines to settle and integrate, and oak is used with care. In the vineyards, work is exacting, with close attention to yields and vine health to ensure consistency year to year. These decisions sit within a broader philosophy that prioritises structure, longevity and clarity, allowing the character of each site to come through without excess.
There is a strong sense of continuity across the range. The wines favour line and persistence over weight, with a composed, measured feel that reflects both vineyard and season. At the same time, the domaine has tightened its identity over time, building on its foundations while bringing greater precision and definition to its releases.
Production remains small, and demand continues to grow. Our allocation from the importer is extremely limited, and each release is tightly held, making these wines increasingly difficult to secure and unlikely to remain available for long.
A considered expression of Meursault, shaped by patience, precision and intent.
