Vietti stands as one of the defining producers of Barolo.
Founded in the late 19th century and based in Castiglione Falletto, the estate has long been part of the fabric of the region. Its modern identity was shaped through the latter half of the 20th century, when Vietti became one of the first producers to bottle Barolo by individual vineyard, well before this became standard practice.
That philosophy has carried through to today. The wines here come from the estate’s modern era, shaped over decades under the direction of the Currado family, whose work helped define Vietti as it is now understood.
Over time, we have built a considered selection of Vietti across multiple vintages and vineyards, allowing us to offer more than a single snapshot of the estate.
Rather than focusing on one release, this is a broader view, a cross-section of mature wines alongside benchmark years such as 2016, 2019 and 2021, across some of Barolo’s most important sites.
It’s a chance to explore Barolo across sites, styles and stages of evolution.
