"From the north-facing lieu-dit Chavannes, with soils of granite and schist and a thin layer of sandy soils over the top. This area provides for wines with distinct minerality and finesse. This wine has a beautiful wild strawberry and red cherry character and is attractively taut and fresh in the mouth where it's finesse and precision give way to a gorgeous succulence and very refreshing and pretty finish. If these two wines were playing in a wine Orchestra together then this would be the Violin to the Brouilly's Viola. All in all, here are two superb Cru Beaujolais of finesse, definition and clarity.
