"The 2021 Paso Las MaƱas was produced with grapes from a vineyard in the village of Samaniego at 700 meters above sea level. The plot was planted in 1990 and 2013 on limestone and rocky soils. It fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in 3,500-liter oak foudre for 12 months. It has an explosive nose of raspberries, high pitched and showy, aromatic, open and expressive. It has a moderate 13.6% alcohol and a pH of 3.4, terrific balance and very fine tannins."
