"A bit of lees, a bit of barrel time, a lot of consideration. From the Glenhope Vineyard on granite soils at 430 metres above sea level. What can’t Michael Dhillon do? This wine puts me in mind of riesling I like drinking, a far cry away from classic dry white riesling 101 made in inert, clinical styles.
?
Glassy textured, crisp green apples, a sprig of ginger, water cracker, some sourdough yeast underlying, a pleasing waxy finish of substantial length and freshness. Perfumed, flavoursome, refreshing, interesting. Savoury and saline. Flavour and yet compact. Proper riesling here."
