"There’s an openness to the range of ’22 pinots, all with a core of lovely fruit yet showing restraint and fineness too. This spends 16 months in French oak barriques, 30% new, which has bolstered the palate, while the fruit has sucked up any wood character. Lovely aromas, pretty even, with florals, rosehip, chinotto and a flutter of fresh herbs. It’s the most aromatic of all. While there’s some grip to the hazelnut-skin-like tannins, the palate feels lighter framed, the tangy acidity cleansing and cooling. Lovely now."
