From TBH Vineyard (The Barlow Homestead) in the Green Valley of Russian River AVA. This vineyard, planted in 2009 by Paul and Kathryn Sloan of Small Vines Winery at their estate in Graton, features dense planting with 4×3 spacing and is dry farmed on Goldridge fine sandy loam soils. The Chardonnay grapes are hand harvested and barrel fermented in 7–12-year-old barrels with complete malolactic fermentation and no lees stirring. The wine is then aged for 12 months on gross lees in neutral barrels, resulting in a refined Chardonnay with a 12% ABV.
