"Been a while since I tasted a Clonakilla Hilltops, though luckily I’m tasting alongside Mike today, so I feel at ease.
Medium-bodied, spice and hazelnuts, mint, blueberry and fresh blackberry, a juicy sort of acidity and a firm crunch to tannin, kind of a wheatgerm flavour and texture too, and a bright and meaty peppery finish of good length. Not the most concentrated, but freshness is appealing."
