There is enough reduction present to hide the underlying fruit though it does appear to be quite ripe. There is excellent punch and power to the big-bodied, intense and muscular flavors that brim with palate coating and tannin buffering dry extract on the pungently mineral-driven and beautifully long finish. This is very Mazis in character yet it's not especially rustic.
