The 2022 Pinot Noir is from the Zeltinger Himmelreich (25-year-old vines) and from the Kinheim Rosenberg (20-year-old vines). Aged in 50% new, light-toasted Rousseau barrels and 50% old Burgundian pièces for one year, this unfiltered red wine opens with an intense and fresh, slightly toasty cherry aroma intertwined with flinty slate aromas. Silky, fresh and straight on the palate, this is a tight and vivacious, crunchy and finessed Pinot Noir with stimulating salinity and a long, aromatic finish. 3,500 bottles were filled in December 2023. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork.
