From a single site, wild-fermented and matured in large-format French oak (40% new) for 12 months. A very high quality Margaret River chardonnay, with stone fruit/citrus bounding off subtle and integrated oak into the arms of perfectly balanced acidity. Fully deserved its gold medal at the Sydney Wine Show '17.

It’s complex, tight, frisky and long. Flint, funk, steel and an array of fruits, apple and green pineapple among them. It flashes and flares its way though the palate before bursting out through the finish. It’s not tart but it’s a wine of lean, elegant length. Matchstick characters are also evident in volume.
