"The main bottling of Clos de la Roche comes from plots in Monts Luisants (2/3) and Fremières (1/3) The colour impresses with its deep core of crimson purple. There is a very light reduction to the nose before the raspberries start to come out with aeration. This is gorgeously sensual on the palate, and ticks all the boxes: elegance/finesse/density/ freshness. It will be very hard to beat this!"
