The Klosterberg may not be the flagship site of the Weil estate, but its dry Riesling from the 2018 vintage is bound to further its rise to prominence. The nose is playing it cool with an enticing fragrance of stone fruit and stony minerality, sublimely enhanced by a hint of green mint. In the mouth, the fruit takes a more exotic direction with notions of mango and papaya, but is kept well in check by a compact structure and flinty minerality.
