It’s a little riper and juicier this year, with fresh cut peach, almond, a wisp of struck match, and judicious spicy oak. Medium-bodied, clean and fruity, with a flinty texture, settled acidity, and tidy length of flavour, ripe lime and vanilla in the mix (as ever), pulling a little toasty and savoury in the aftertaste. It hasn’t really come together as yet, of course, but the potential here is very good.
