The 2015 Moulin-à-Vent Les Michelons is more aromatically expressive than the Fleurie, bursting from the glass with an intense bouquet of cassis, mulberry, roasting game bird and wild blueberries. On the palate, it's full-bodied, ample and expansive, with a rich, fleshy attack, a deep and layered mid-palate and a broad, stony finish. Less tensile than the Fleurie, the Michelons is more voluminous but just as deep. It's thrilling to think how this wine will taste in ten years' time.
