This is at once elegant and earthy with its mix of red cherry, violet, anise and wisp of forest floor. There is a bit more volume to the vibrant, pure and seductive medium-bodied flavors that aren't quite as powerful but even longer on the firmly structured and dusty finish. Despite the seductive mid-palate, the imposing tannic spine makes it clear that this is going to need at least some cellaring. Outstanding.
