“The 2022 Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Kabinett is very clear, bright and citric on the delicate and filigreed nose. On the palate, this is a light and lush, very delicate Kabinett from a coolish and windier 2,000-square-meter plot that is cultivated by Christian Hermann and Dominique and Benjamin Thomas. The wine was fermented in the Thomas's cellar (Weingut Klosterhof), but each producer bottles his 50% share with his own label in his own domaine. The wine is perfectly round and a simply delicious Kabinett that was bottled in March with 7.5% stated alcohol and 50 grams of residual sugar. Tasted in May 2023 at the Hermann domaine in Erden.
