"This is mostly made from Savagnin but does contain a little Pinot Noir and Poulsard too; consequently, this has a relatively deep colour with orchard hues; the maceration was 7 days and so there is not too much grip or tannin, the wine is beautiful and fluid. Francois is a real gastronome and loves to eat out in restaurants when he can. He was urged over the years to try a maceration and so here we are - the wine shows deep, elegant and delicate fruit and displays a real vinous character with both citrus and red berry aromas. Generous and intense on the palate, this is an elegant and quite supple wine with a long, intense and complex finish. It's still young but of super quality."
