"Emily's is traditionally more reserved, and the '19, in particular, benefits from a decant and a splash of air. There is unaccustomed power in this vintage, courtesy of high alcohol, so some of the subtlety of the wine is lost, replaced by a more upfront, bold personality. As the wine moves across the palate, however, there it is, the fine tannin grace, so svelte and lively. And it's still early days for young Emily."
